What I'm Listening To

It is officially finals season and I have basically moved into the campus library. Between the study groups, office hours, and exorbitant amounts of caffeine I need a song that will bring back to life. So if you need a song to impress a TA or something to inspire a 3 a.m. study break dance party, I have the tune for you. That Grove by WestPark is a song that you can't help but get into, even as I write this post I keep having to pause typing in order to dance. A beautifully catchy and funky bass line carries the song along with a simple drum beat. The lyrics are simple as the song is more focused on the feeling of all the elements together than it is on telling a story or converting a message. It is the perfect song play when you need to turn off your brain and just grove for a minute.
