What I'm Listening To

It is internship application season once again, and so here I am bringing back the blog incase any future employers come to take a look at my portfolio. I am currently studying abroad in Florence, Italy and am doing my best to travel and see all that I can possibly see. This has led me to one of my new favorite hobbies, listening to music on trains. Something about staring out a window at the Italian countryside really just makes listening to any song feel more dramatic and poignant.

My current favorite train listening song is called Devil and The Deep Blue by Bad Flamingo. Dramatic pacing that perfectly aligns with the speed of the train, simple harmonies, and that old American country sound that just feels better when you're abroad put this song at the top of all my current playlists. If you need something to make you feel confident while walking around or more sure of your Italian speaking skills than you are, this song is it.
